Telecommunications network
In the context of the follow up and development of the services provided to the guests of the Most Merciful, the Ministry of Pilgrimage has sought to benefit from the telecommunication technologies by establishing an integrated network throughout the past few years in order to facilitate field communications between officials of the Ministry of Pilgrims and the establishments it supervises, namely, the six National Tawafa Establishments in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, the National Guides Establishment in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, the Unified Agents Office, the Unified Zamzamis Office, the General Cars Syndicate and the Pilgrims Transport Companies. The field of coverage of the telecommunications network covers Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, the Holy Sites, and Jeddah, with links for transmission and communication, between the Hajj cities and along the roads connecting them, through eleven telecommunication towers that are spread all over the locations and are equipped with all the human and technological resources.
