Modernizing and Establishing Facilities Need by the Ministry

It is noticeable that the Ministry of Hajj has no building of its own headquarters in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah. Instead, it rents buildings that are originally designed to be used for residential purposes. There is a dire need for the repair and reconstruction of the Ministry's centers at the outlets of Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, of Makkah Al-Mukarramah and at the holy sites.

The Ministry will seek to remedy the situation through the following:

- Exploiting some plots of land which it owns in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah for constructing buildings that would house the Ministry's headquarters in both cities, which buildings are to be designed for this purpose.

- Confirming the ownership of the Ministry's headquarters in Riyadh and modernizing same.

- Modernizing the Ministry's headquarters at the Holy Sites and the outlets of Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, and in particular:

-The Ministry's headquarters at Mina

-Modernizing the centers for the reception and edification of pilgrims in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah

-Modernizing the centers for the grouping of pilgrims in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah

-Establishing fixed centers for the guidance and assistance of pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors of the Prophet's Mosque, around the two Holy Mosques.

-Converting the center for the reception and orientation of pilgrims, which is situated at the Makkah Al-Mukarramah - Jeddah highway, into a station for completion of the travel formalities of some air-traveling pilgrims, upon their departure
